Cinephiles might like movie reunions almost as much as the movies themselves! Here's a look at some beloved film stars finding their way back to each other after bringing us so much delight on the big screen.
'Bridesmaids'

'Love Jones'
On March 21, 2023, Nia Long and Larenz Tate had an impromptu reunion while walking in the rain. "Money in the bank baby ❤️," Long captioned the reunion, which occurred 26 years after the movie's release.

'National Lampoon's Vacation'
On Dec. 11, 2022, Chevy Chase reunited with Beverly D'Angelo and Christie Brinkley for a special holiday reunion, 39 years after the release of National Lampoon's Vacation. "The Three Amigos..." he captioned a pic of them all wearing matching sweaters.
'Cruel Intentions'
Former co-stars and longtime friends, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair, reunited twice in one week after Gellar helped Blair accept her 2022 People's Choice Award and later took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion. Gellar called it "a holiday miracle."
'Dreamgirls'
On the Nov. 23, 2022 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, the host of the show reunited with her Dreamgirls co-star, Anika Noni Rose, to the delight of fans everywhere!
'True Lies'
Arnold Schwarzenegger reunited with his True Lies onscreen wife, Jamie Lee Curtis, at her hand and footprint ceremony at TCL Chinese Theatre on Oct. 12, 2022 in Hollywood, California.
'Fifty Shades'
Reunited in the mountains! The actors, who starred in the Fifty Shades trilogy, were back together once again, taking in some fresh air at the 2021 Telluride Film Festival in Telluride, Colorado, on Sept. 4.
'How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days'
Kate Hudson and Kathryn Hahn played best friends in the 2003 romcom and have been reunited for Knives Out 2! While shooting the movie in Athens, Greece, the actresses snapped a selfie of their night out with their husbands. "Reunited baby yeah!!! Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine, who starred in the Pitch Perfect movies and Isn't It Romantic, reunited on Feb. 7 at the Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Florida. "My favorite work husband @adamdevine," Wilson wrote on Instagram.
'13 Going on 30'
Jennifer Garner and Judy Greer kicked off 2021 with a reunion! The actresses played longtime pals Jenna Rink (Garner) and Lucy Wyman (Greer) in the 2004 comedy 13 Going on 30. "Always the smartest. Always the funniest. Always the biggest @dodgers fan in the room. I love @missjudygreer. ♥️ #TeamJG p.s. Hey, JG — remember how I said I wasn’t going to post you? 😬 Sorry, but you’re cute," Garner captioned the pic on Instagram.
'Back to the Future'
Doc and Marty forever! 35 years after Back to the Future hit theaters, Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox were back together once again to try their hand at a poker tournament that benefited the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. "Going 88mph for the @michaeljfoxorg Poker Night ♠️ ♦️," Floyd captioned a pic of the pair on Instagram on March 5.
'St. Elmo's Fire' and 'About Last Night'
Demi Moore and Rob Lowe reunited on the red carpet ahead of the Tom Ford runway show in Los Angeles during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 7. (Ford decided to debut in Los Angeles instead of New York, ahead of the Oscars, which were held two days later. The pair were part of the '80s Brat Pack and starred alongside each other in 1985's St. Elmo's Fire and 1986's About Last Night.
'Thelma & Louise'
Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis were back together once again for a "Women in Motion" screening of their classic 1991 film at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Jan. 28.
'Wild Things'
Amazingly, Neve Campbell and Denise Richards saw each other for the first time in more than 20 years at an autograph signing in Malibu, California. "#tbt reunited with @nevecampbell about a month ago signing autographs for fans," Richards captioned a photo with her long-lost actress pal on Jan. 23. More than 40 years after starring in 1978's Oscar-winning The Deer Hunter alongside Christopher Walker and John Savage, Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep were back together once again at the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Jan. 19.
'Waterboy'
The Bouchers are back together! The mother-son duo from 1998's Waterboy was laughing together again at the National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala in New York City on Jan. 8.
'Walk the Line'
Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon enjoyed a Walk the Line reunion at the 2020 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Jan. 5. The pair, who played Johnny Cash and June Carter in the 2005 movie, couldn't have smiled wider as they ran into each other on the red carpet ahead of the show. Witherspoon, wearing a gorgeous white floor-length strapless gown by Roland Mouret, reached out for her former co-star, who looked dapper in a black suit. The actress was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series -- Drama for her role on The Morning Show, while Phoenix won Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture -- Drama for Joker. Both Witherspoon and Phoenix previously won Golden Globes for their roles in Walk the Line. The awards show also served as a Friends reunion for Witherspoon and her Friends sisters, Jennifer Aniston and Christina Applegate, all of whom were nominated for awards.
'Desperado'
A quarter-century after starring together in 1995's Desperado, Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas were back together again at the 2020 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala in Palm Springs, California, on Jan. 2.
'The Sandlot'
The cast of the 1993 classic has gone from boys to men! Chauncey Leopardi, Patrick Renna and Tom Guiry were back together again for an Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow screening of their beloved film, The Sandlot, at Treaty Oak Distilling in Dripping Springs, Texas, on Oct. 20, 2019.
'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion'
They're having a Romy and Michele day! More than two decades after starring in the 1997 cult classic, our two favorite fashion designer blondes got to party together once more, and we sure hope Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino spent plenty of time talking about Post-Its. "Most thrilling moment for me at a party EVER! Genuinely GOOD person @mirasorvino see you soon ??," Kudrow shared on Instagram on Sept. 24.
'Idle Hands'
Devon Sawa and Seth Green were back together once again at Rooftop Cinema Club's 20th anniversary and cast reunion screening of Idle Hands at LEVEL in downtown Los Angeles on Sept. 7, which included never-before-seen footage and a Q&A with the film's stars.
'American Pie'
What a high school reunion! ET brought the cast of American Pie -- Jason Biggs (who played fumbling virgin Jim), Chris Klein (Casanova Chris "Oz" Ostreicher"), Tara Reid (girl next door Vicky), Alyson Hannigan (band geek Michelle Flaherty) and Eddie Kaye Thomas (mochaccino-drinking dilettante Paul "Sh*tbreak" Finch) -- back together in one room for the first time since 2012. So where was Shannon Elizabeth? Like art imitating life, the actress who played foreign exchange student Nadia is abroad -- she lives in South Africa, where she works in animal rescue. "We all look pretty good!" Reid announced as she eyed up her castmates gathered in the green room. The teen sex comedy was released in theaters on July 9, 1999. 'Jawbreaker'
One bad girl short! Rose McGowan (Courtney) may not have made it, but Julie Benz (Marcie) and Rebecca Gayheart (Julie) were on hand for Rooftop Cinema Club's 20th-anniversary and cast reunion at LEVEL in Los Angeles on May 11. In the 1999 cult classic, the trio played three popular girls at Reagan High who accidentally kill the prom queen with a Jawbreaker candy.
'LOL'
Two icons back together! Seven years after playing mother and daughter in 2012's LOL, Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore partied at Gucci's Met Gala after-party at Hunter College in New York City on May 6.
'Ocean's Eleven'
Getting the crew back together! George Clooney reunited with his longtime friends and former Ocean's Eleven co-stars, Don Cheadle and Matt Damon, on May 8 at the star-studded Hollywood premiere of his upcoming Hulu dramedy, Catch-22.
'Reality Bites'
You see, Lainy, this IS all we need! Gen X got a treat of a reunion when Ben Stiller (Michael), Winona Ryder (Lelaina), Janeane Garofalo (Vickie) and Ethan Hawke (Troy) came together for a 25th-anniversary screening of their 1994 cult classic, Reality Bites, during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival on May 4. Lisa Loeb, who broke out with her song, "Stay (I Missed You)," after it appeared on the Reality Bites soundtrack, was there as well and even performed her hit.
'Lost Boys'
Fangs out! Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Feldman and Jason Patric were back together again at Fan Expo Dallas 2019 on May 4. Sutherland portrayed a vampire named David in the 1987 flick, while Feldman played vampire hunter Edgar and Patric was a teen named Michael. 'Charlie's Angels'
Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz were reunited when Liu earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 1. The trio, who starred together in the 2000 big-screen adaptation of the hit TV series, Charlie's Angels, were also joined by Demi Moore, who starred as a former-Angel-turned-villain in the 2003 sequel, Charles Angels: Full Throttle.
'When Harry Met Sally'
We'll have what she's having! Billy Crystal cracked Meg Ryan up at the 2019 TCM Classic Film Festival Opening Night Gala in Hollywood April 11, where a special 30th-anniversary screening of their beloved romcom, 1989's When Harry Met Sally, was taking place.
'10 Things I Hate About You'
Were they just whelmed? Twenty years after 10 Things I Hate About You hit theaters in 1999, Susan May Pratt and Larisa Oleynik attended the unauthorized musical parody of their hit teen movie at Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles on April 6. Oleynik starred as popular girl Bianca Stratford in the beloved flick, while Pratt played Mandella, Bianca's sister, Kat's, Shakespeare-obsessed BFF.
'A Star Is Born'
More than four decades after starring together in the 1976 version of A Star Is Born, Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson were back together once more! But what were they doing? "It was so wonderful to see my friend Kris who stopped by yesterday. Stay tuned...?," Streisand teased in her Instagram caption on April 3.
'A Walk to Remember'
Mandy Moore received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 25, and she was supported by not only her current This Is Us cast but her A Walk to Remember co-star, Shane West. West took to the podium and surprised Moore with a picture of the two of them when they wrapped their beloved 2002 film. He also reminisced about working with Moore, sharing that they were opposites brought together by the film's director, Adam Shankman, who was also at the ceremony. "We could have not been more opposite when we met," West said. "I was busy wearing ill-advised clothes and having dubious hair choices and eyeliner and my garage punk band or whatever that was, and you were killing it on the pop star scene, and you had very long, beautiful blonde hair at the time. I was trying to get you to listen to The Clash and the Ramones, and you weren't very interested in it, but you were sweet about it."
'Troop Beverly Hills'
ET got much of the beloved cast together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the comedy classic, which hit theaters in March 1989. Shelley Long (Phyllis Nefler), Tori Spelling (Jamie), Heather Hopper (Tessa DiBlasio), Aquilina Soriano (Lily Marcigan), Tasha Scott (Jasmine Shakar), Kellie Martin (Emily Coleman), Betty Thomas (Velda Plendor) and Dinah Lacey (Cleo Plendor) reunited at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel. Three decades after Phyllis became an unconventional den mother to the daughters of movie stars, boxers, romance novelists and plastic surgeons, the castmates excitedly recounted plot points from the movie and spontaneously broke into song like they were reminiscing about their own summer camp -- which, in a sense, it was. (The film also featured Carla Gugino, Ami Foster and Emily Schulman, all of whom were unable to attend the reunion but sent video greets for their castmates, as well as child star-turned-rock star Jenny Lewis.)
'Clueless'
As if Cher and Josh have even aged! Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd reunited with the rest of the cast of their classic 1995 film for the C2E2 Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo on March 23. "Such a sweet reunion last night at dinner with my pal #PaulRudd," Silverstone, who played Cher, wrote of her on-screen ex-step-sibling. "I love this guy! I mean he ordered vegan for both of us..... Swoon ?."
'Office Space'
So, Peter, what's happening two decades later? Ron Livingston, Gary Cole, David Herman and Ajay Naidu had a laugh onstage at a 20th-anniversary screening of their cult classic, Office Space, as writer-director Mike Judge held court during a Q&A moderated by the Austin Film Society's Richard Linklater at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas, on March 6.
'Whip It'
Ten years after playing BFFs in the Drew Barrymore-directed roller derby indie, Alia Shawkat skated to her real-life pal's side to support Ellen Page at The Umbrella Academy premiere after-party in Hollywood on Feb. 12.
'Jurassic Park'
Laura Dern and Sam Neill posed together for a selfie during the HBO Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, California, on Feb. 9.
'Fatal Attraction'
Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, who starred together in the acclaimed 1987 psychological drama Fatal Attraction, reconnected onstage during the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 27.
'D2: The Mighty Ducks'
It's been 25 years since Garette Ratliff Henson, Vincent LaRusso, Colombe Jacobsen-Derstine, Kenan Thompson and Danny Tamberelli hit the ice in D2: The Mighty Ducks, and they were back in uniform on Jan. 21, taking to the ice before the Anaheim Ducks took on the New York Islanders on Long Island. The Ducks shared some pics of the reunion, including a snap of all five cast members rocking jerseys personalized with their characters' names on the back. "What a sweet day!! Thanks to the @anaheimducks for a great day reliving my #mightyducks season with some old friends!" Tamberelli wrote on Instagram.
'The Mask of Zorro'
Over 20 years after the release of the beloved film, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas reunited onstage to present the Best Motion Picture - Foreign Language accolade at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Jan. 06 in Beverly Hills, California.
'Napoleon Dynamite'
Gosh! Fourteen years after the cult classic hit theaters, Jon Heder (Napoleon), Tina Majorino (Deb) and Efren Ramirez (Pedro) met up for a screening of Napoleon Dynamite in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Nov. 18.
'Blade Runner 2049'
One year after their film was released, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford were back together at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's 3rd Annual Patron of the Artists Awards in Beverly Hills on Nov. 8, where Ford received the Artists Inspiration Award.
'21 Jump Street'
It was as if no time had passed when Jonah Hill reunited with his 21 Jump Street co-star, Channing Tatum, at the 2018 WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards at the Museum of Modern Art on Nov. 7 in New York City. The actors starred in the buddy cop comedy in 2012, as well as the sequel, 22 Jump Street, in 2014.
'Pitch Perfect' Films
Anna Kendrick, Shelley Regner, Anna Camp and Chrissie Fit, as well as their writer-director Becca Gleason Miller, headed to Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles on Nov. 3 to support their friend and fellow Pitch Perfect co-star Kelley Jakle in the Unauthorized Musical Parody of Stranger Things. "Family. Tried to shake em for six years. Tonight Ester straight referred to me as Wednesday Adams so, reputation intact. ?," Kendrick wrote on Instagram after the show.
'Mrs. Doubtfire'
The kids are all grown up! For the 25th anniversary of the beloved comedy Mrs. Doubtfire, four of the cast members -- Matthew Lawrence, Pierce Brosnan, Mara Wilson and Lisa Jakub -- celebrated the major milestone with a reunion special for the Today show, which will air next month.
"Guess who? Today, after 25 years, I gathered around a table in the company of three beautiful young people, to talk story about a film that has touched the hearts of so many,” Brosnan wrote on Instagram. “Sally is on tour with her new book. Robin is in heaven making the angels laugh and was spoken of with the fondest of love and sweet memories.”
In 1993, the film became an instant classic when fans fell in love with an actor, played by the late Robin Williams, who disguises himself as a female housekeeper named Mrs. Doubtfire to spend time with his children, Lydia (Jakub), Chris (Lawrence) and Natalie (Wilson), who are in the custody of his former wife, Miranda (Sally Field). Brosnan played Miranda's new love interest, Stu.
'The Big Lebowski'
Twenty years ago, two of Jackie Treehorn's thugs peed all over a Persian rug that really tied Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski's room together, sending Jeff Bridges' iconic zen-like slacker on a modern noir adventure filled with mistaken identities, kidnapping and angst-ridden nihilists with a penchant for marmot attacks and castration via giant scissors. In celebration of Joel and Ethan Coen's beloved comedy masterpiece, Bridges reunited with John Goodman (who played the incomparable Walter Sobchak) and Steve Buscemi (who played the affable Donny Kerabatsos) for an interview with NBC's Harry Smith to reminisce about the cult classic. Bridges shared a snapshot from their reunion to Instagram on Oct. 18, writing, "Missing some of our cast here, but it was a blast getting back together with John and Steve for the 20th Anniversary of #TheBigLebowski."
'Terminator'
She'll be back! Linda Hamilton is returning for the upcoming Terminator movie, and her co-star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, couldn't be happier. The actor took to Instagram on Sept. 26 to celebrate Hamilton's birthday with side-by-side pics of them from the first and current Terminator movies. "Happy birthday to my dear friend Linda Hamilton. One of my favorite co-stars, a true badass, and a wonderful human being. I’m pumped to be back together again," he wrote.
'John Tucker Must Die'
Former co-stars (and onscreen co-conspirators) Brittany Snow and Sophia Bush reunited at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary for Cinespia’s special screening of Scream on Sept. 9. The pair was all smiles as they sat together among the tombstones before the screening of the Wes Craven classic kicked off.
'Now and Then'
Rumer Willis and her sisters (not pictured) joined their mom, Demi Moore, as well as Thora Birch, writer Marlene King and director Lesli Linka Glatter for a Labor Day weekend Cinespia screening of Now and Then. Moore played adult Samantha in the beloved '90s coming-of-age film, while Birch starred as the younger Teeny.
'Harry Potter'
Tom Felton tried to convince Matthew Lewis to switch from Gryffindor to Slytherin during a recent reunion. "See how close he was to converting.... @mattdavelewis #gryffindork," Felton captioned his Aug. 19 Instagram shot.
'Grease'
Sandy and Danny are back together once again! Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta gave us the chills when they showed off their dance moves at a 40th-anniversary celebration of Grease in Beverly Hills on Aug. 15.
'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey'
"A dwarf ??a wizard ??♂️and an elf ??♂️walk into a bar... #lotr," Orlando Bloom captioned his Aug. 13 Instagram post with Ian McKellen, who portrayed wizard Gandalf, and Adam Brown, who played dwarf Ori.
'The Lord of the Rings'
"Just a pair of elves ?♀️??♂️ ," Orlando Bloom captioned his sweet Instagram selfie with his former co-star Liv Tyler he shared on Aug. 1. The two actors shared the screen together in the LOTR trilogy and have remained close ever since.
'Gladiator'
It's been 18 years since Gladiator, and two of the film's biggest names, Russell Crowe and Connie Nielsen, came together in honor of the anniversary at Rotary's End Polio fundraiser, held at the Colosseum in Rome, Italy, on June 6.
'Scarface'
Michelle Pfeiffer and Al Pacino came together with their Scarface co-star Steven Bauer and director Brian De Palma (not pictured) at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City in honor of the classic film's 35th anniversary.
'Dreamgirls'
Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson snapped a selfie to commemorate their reunion at Clive Davis and the Recording Academy's Pre-GRAMMY Gala in New York City on Jan. 27.
'Twilight'
Five years after they portrayed vampires in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed reunited for Elle's 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Oct. 16, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
'Josie and the Pussycats'
Tara Reid, Rachael Leigh Cook and Rosario Dawson got the band back together for a reunion and concert at the Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles on Sept. 26.
'Titanic'
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet reunited on July 26 at The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation's annual fundraising gala, and the Titanic stars were joined by their co-star, and on-screen nemesis, Billy Zane. The 51-year-old star snapped a celebratory pic with his old pals and marveled at the irony of the trio reuniting at an event trying to raise money to protect the environment from global warming.
