The season 6 contestant made connections with AD and Amber in the pods and went on several post-show dates with AD.
Love Is Blind season 6 contestant Matthew Duliba is opening up now that the show has finished airing. Matthew, whose relationship with contestant AD was discussed during the reunion, chose not to attend the Netflix show's reunion special.
During a weekend fan Q&A on his Instagram, Matthew explained his decision not to attend and shared that he has a new girlfriend in his life.
When one fan asked why he chose not to attend the show's reunion special, he replied, "Not going back into a situation where they maintain editing."
Another fan asked if Matthew didn't understand the risk of being on reality TV.
"I didn't think they could cut and paste sentences, if I would've known that, I wouldn't have done it," Matthew claimed.
Matthew previously spoke out on social media, condemning the edit he was given, which showed him walking out on dates in the middle of contestant Sarah Ann talking.
Sarah Ann, who went on to eventually date contestant Jeramey Lutinski, previously confirmed Matthew's claim that the show was edited to make it look like he left mid-date.
When one fan asked if Matthew thought he did anything wrong with his two pod connections, AD and Amber, he simply replied, "Nah."
AD shared during the reunion special that after her fiancé, Clay Gravesande, said "no" at the altar, she went on multiple dates with Matthew, including one where he made her "rice and chicken" at his house.
Matthew seemingly made a reference to that date when asked by another fan why things didn't work out with him and AD or Amber.
"They are too chicken and rice like for me," he replied.
As for the status of his current love life, Matthew took the time to introduce his girlfriend to his followers.
When one commenter asked if he likes Spanish or Latin women, he replied, "Funny you should ask, this is Vanesa, my gf. This picture was taken the same day as the reunion. We went to the Charlotte FC soccer game with friends."
During the reunion, Amber opened up about her brief post-show romance with Matthew, explaining to co-hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey why things didn't work out between them.
"We live two completely different lifestyles. He's very disciplined. Not that I'm not, but he's extremely to the clock, every minute is kind of planned out whereas I'm with the wind a little bit," AD said at the time.
During the reunion, Clay expressed regret for saying "no" at the altar with AD, sharing that he hoped to rekindle their relationship.
While speaking with ET after the reunion, AD described herself as single and said that she didn't see a future with her ex.
All six seasons of Love Is Blind are currently streaming on Netflix.
