The youngest son of the late pop star was spotted at the movies in Los Angeles a month after celebrating his 22nd birthday.
Blanket "Bigi" Jackson is all grown up! The 22-year-old son of Michael Jackson was photographed while out for a trip to the movies in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Bigi, whom the late King of Pop nicknamed "Blanket" as a kid, was dressed casually for his solo movie date. He wore a gray Star Wars Darth Vader T-shirt and black athletic shorts and paired the look with Nike socks and sneakers. Bigi kept his long hair tucked behind his ears as he was snapped leaving the theater on the sunny California day.
While Bigi keeps a relatively low profile in the public eye compared to his siblings, Prince and Paris, he's been making big moves on his own as he gets older.
In addition to celebrating his birthday last month, Bigi was recently awarded Best Drama at the Santa Monica Film Festival for his directorial and screenwriting debut, Rochelles.
Rochelles, which stars Jesse Howland and Brandon Bales, focuses on two friends competing for a coveted job at a prestigious restaurant. According to production company 2293 Productions, the short film was shot over a five-day period around Los Angeles. Rochelles is currently available to rent on Amazon and Roku.
Per People, Prince took to his Instagram Story to celebrate his brother's achievement. Prince shared a photo of Bigi posing with a group as he held up his award and added a sweet note for his younger brother. "Bro is killing it! Chasing his dreams and winning awards 😊😊," he wrote.
Bigi and Prince made a rare appearance together to celebrate their father's legacy last year. The brothers came together to remember their father on what would have been his 65th birthday with a heartwarming gathering at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Aug. 29, 2023, where Cirque du Soleil's acclaimed Michael Jackson: ONE show was being performed.
A few days after the duo united for the special occasion, the Jacksons' Facebook page shared a sweet photo of the whole family in attendance, including Prince's girlfriend, Molly Schirmang.
The brothers' uncle, Jackie Jackson, is featured in the photo alongside his wife, Emily Besselink, his 9-year-old twin sons, Jaylen and River Jackson, and daughter Brandi Jackson, 41. (Jackie shares Brandi with Enid Arden Span, his ex-wife who died in 1997.)

It wasn't the first time that the Jackson siblings attended the Cirque du Soleil show. In 2018, Paris and Prince were in attendance at the Michael Jackson Diamond Birthday Celebration, where they accepted the Elizabeth Taylor Legacy Award on behalf of their father. The award recognized Michael's humanitarian work with the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, a cause that he passionately supported.
