<p>Fans know <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/christina-applegate" rel="" target="_blank">Christina Applegate</a> as an actress with a career spanning five decades, an Emmy winner, a mom, and a beloved Hollywood fixture. For the last almost three years, she's also been, as Applegate puts it herself in her X bio, a "Lady with a cool cane…"</p>

<p>In August 2021 at the age of 49, Applegate announced she had <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-says-she-was-diagnosed-with-multiple-sclerosis-a-few-months-ago-170228" rel="" target="_blank">been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis -- commonly referred to as MS</a>&nbsp;-- a "potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system)," according to the Mayo Clinic. "It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition," she tweeted at the time. "It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it."</p>

<p>It is with that signature blend of boldness, transparency and humor that Applegate, also a breast cancer survivor, has invited fans to understand more about what her life with MS has been like ever since.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"This is the first time anyone's going to see me the way I am," she said <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-details-how-ms-diagnosis-has-affected-her-life-im-never-going-to-accept-this" rel="" target="_blank">in a <em>New York Times</em>&nbsp;interview the following year</a> ahead of the final season of <em>Dead to Me</em>'s premiere. "I put on 40 pounds; I can’t walk without a cane. I want people to know that I am very aware of all of that."</p>

<p>While she was in production of that third season of the hit Netflix series, Applegate learned of her diagnosis, finally getting an explanation for the years of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-tears-up-recalling-first-learning-of-her-ms-diagnosis-221563" rel="" target="_blank">mysterious on-and-off symptoms she had suffered</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"My symptoms had started in the early part of 2021, and it was, like, literally just tingling on my toes," Applegate recalled in an interview with ABC's Robin Roberts. "And by the time we started shooting in the summer of that same year, I was being brought to set in a wheelchair. Like, I couldn't walk that far." The star credits fellow actress and&nbsp;<em>Sweetest Thing</em>&nbsp;co-star Selma Blair, who announced her <a href="https://www.etonline.com/selma-blair-emotionally-reveals-multiple-sclerosis-diagnosis-111998" rel="" target="_blank">own MS diagnosis in 2018</a>, with ultimately getting tested.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"She goes, 'You need to be checked for MS,' and I said, 'No.' I said, 'Really? The odds? The two of us from the same movie? Come on, that's not gonna be -- that doesn't happen,'" Applegate told Roberts. "She knew. If not for her, it could have been way worse."</p>

<p>Following a five-month hiatus on <em>Dead to Me&nbsp;</em>production, during which she received treatment, Applegate -- who had first appeared on screen at three months old -- insisted on finishing the show. According to the <em>Times</em>, however, it was not easy for Applegate, who needed a wheelchair to go to set, struggled with the steps to her trailer, and whose character opened doors so she could lean on them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Shooting the show," she said during a remote appearance on&nbsp;<em>The Kelly Clarkson Show</em>,&nbsp;"was the hardest thing I'd ever done in my life."</p>

<p>For her first public appearance since her diagnosis, Applegate stepped out <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-shares-look-at-her-walking-sticks-ahead-of-first-public-event-since-ms" rel="" target="_blank">with a walking stick</a> to accept her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.&nbsp;"Oh, by the way, I have a disease," she <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-delivers-emotional-speech-at-hollywood-walk-of-fame-ceremony-after-ms-diagnosis" rel="" target="_blank">quipped during her speech</a>. "Did you not notice? I'm not wearing shoes! Anywho, you're supposed to laugh at that."</p>

<p>Despite the difficulties she's faced, Applegate forged ahead into the 2023 awards season as she earned Emmy, Critics Choice, and SAG Award nominations for her final performance as Jen Harding. She stepped out, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegates-sag-awards-cane-reads-fu-ms-amid-multiple-sclerosis-battle-199838" rel="" target="_blank">walking stick in hand</a>, for all three. The SAG Awards were particularly special as it was potentially her final time attending as an actor.&nbsp;</p>

"Right now, I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5 a.m. and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set; I don’t have that in me at this moment."</p>

<p>Following the postponement of the 2023 Emmys to January 2024, Applegate received the warmest of welcomes when she stepped out onto the stage as the first presenter that night, accompanied by host Anthony Anderson, to a standing ovation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Thank you so much, oh my god. You're totally shaming me with disability by standing up, it's fine," she quipped, causing the audience to burst out into laughter. "Body not by Ozempic."&nbsp;</p>

<p>She later told Roberts in their sit-down, "I actually kind of blacked out... People said, 'Oh, you were so funny!' And I'm like, 'I don't even know what I said.' I don't know what I was doing. I got so freaked out that I didn't even know what was happening anymore -- and I felt really beloved and it was really a beautiful thing."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Added the actress,&nbsp;"I'm just gonna say this -- that audience stood up for everybody."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Despite offering up punchlines, Applegate has not minced words about her experience with MS. During her interview with Roberts, she said quite plainly,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-says-she-lives-kind-of-in-hell-since-ms-diagnosis-in-sit-down-interview-221231" rel="" target="_blank">"I live kind of in hell."</a></p>

<p>Nearly three years after her diagnosis, Applegate also made it clear that she is still grieving her diagnosis and does not know when that will end.&nbsp;"I'm never gonna wake up and go, 'This is awesome.' I'm just gonna tell you that. It's just not gonna happen. I wake up and I'm reminded of it every day," she said.&nbsp;"...I might get to a place where I will function a little bit better."&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, right now, Applegate is <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-reveals-why-isolating-is-the-way-shes-coping-with-her-ms-diagnosis-221488" rel="" target="_blank">coping with the disease by isolating</a>. "That's kinda how I'm dealing with it is by not going anywhere," she said, "because I don't want to do it. It's hard."&nbsp;</p>

<p>As she put it, "They call it the invisible disease... It can be very lonely because it's hard to explain to people. I'm in excruciating pain, but I'm just used to it now."</p>

<p>In a March 2024 interview with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/dax-shepard" rel="" target="_blank">Dax Shepard</a> on the&nbsp;<a href="https://armchairexpertpod.com/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Armchair Expert</em></a>&nbsp;podcast, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christina-applegate-has-30-lesions-on-her-brain-amid-ms-battle-recalls-crying-over-her-breasts" rel="" target="_blank">Applegate further opened up about her MS battle</a>, saying she's determined to stay honest about her health journey.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I make these jokes because if I don't, I'll suffocate. I'll be done," Applegate explained. "I'm not ready for the healing yet. I will get there. When someone says, 'Have you accepted this as your new normal?' No, f**k you, absolutely not."</p>

<p>Of the symptoms she experiences as a result of her diagnosis, the actress revealed,&nbsp;"I have 30 lesions on my brain, like, herpes sores, basically, so sores all over my brain. My biggest one is behind my right eye, so my right eye hurts a lot," she said, stating that the lesions present themselves differently in each person with MS.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"My hand starts to go weird and then I'll get a seizure-y feeling sometimes in my brain, not all the time," Applegate said of how her body responds.</p>

<p>As for how Applegate is feeling, she didn't mince words.&nbsp;"It's the worst tattoo. It sucks. I'm not gonna sit here and… some people go, 'Oh my god, cancer's the best thing that happened to me!' And I'm like, 'Uhh, then you had a pretty s**tty life,'" she said. "This is the worst thing that's happened to me in my entire life. I hate it so much. I'm so mad about it."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Applegate went on to explain that she can't exercise because "it hurts." She added, "The second my feet hit my carpet in the morning -- and they're hurting as bad as they do every single day -- then I go, 'F**k it, I'm just going to lay back in bed.'"</p>

<p>Applegate continued: 'You go push and then it pushes right on back. She is a mean girl. That's the thing that I struggle with."</p>

<p>Looking back at how she handled having breast cancer back in 2008, Applegate said she lied in her interview with Roberts at the time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"My first interview was with Robin Roberts when I had cancer and I'm sitting there lying my a** off about how I felt," she recalled.&nbsp;"I fell into the wall and sobbed because it was a lie. Everything I was saying was a freaking lie. It was me trying to convince myself of something, and I think that did no service to anyone."</p>

<p>"Yes, I started a foundation right away. Yes, I did all the things I had to do. And we raised millions of dollars for women to get MRIs who were at risk. Yes, we did a good thing, but at the back of it, I was taking off my bra and crying every night, and I wish that I had said that," Applegate continued. "I didn't like my boobies. I still don't like my boobies. It's horrible. I don't have nipples. It's weird."</p>

<p>Applegate underwent a double mastectomy in 2008 after undergoing two unsuccessful lumpectomies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Of her current state, she said,&nbsp;"I totally hate myself, especially now. I gained 45 pounds when I got sick from medication. I've lost 30 pounds in the last few months. Not from Ozempic. I have a stomach issue."</p>

Christina Applegate's Multiple Sclerosis Battle: Lesions on Her Brain, Isolating and Living 'in Hell'

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/priscilla-presley" rel="" target="_blank">Priscilla Presley</a> does not actually have burning love for her former co-star, Patrick Duffy.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The actress and famed former wife of Elvis Presley recently shut down a budding rumor that she's in love with her former&nbsp;<em>Dallas</em>&nbsp;colleague, who played Bobby Ewing opposite her Jenna Wade, Ewing's childhood sweetheart, on the long-running CBS soap opera.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Now there’s this whole big thing out there that I love Patrick Duffy, and I'm reading this in a magazine that someone showed me yesterday," she said during a Q&amp;A event at the Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday night, per <a href="https://people.com/priscilla-presley-dispels-rumor-in-love-dallas-costar-patrick-duffy-8619668" rel="" target="_blank"><i>People</i></a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I'm going, 'This is unbelievable, really, this is so crazy,'" the 78-year-old mother of the late Lisa Marie Presley elaborated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While Presley did not specify further about the magazine story, she cited them recently crossing paths at a <em>Dallas</em> cast reunion earlier this month as what may have spurred the gossip. However, Presley noted that Duffy attended the event with his partner, <em>Happy Days</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Matlock</em>&nbsp;actress&nbsp;Linda Purl, who Presley said Duffy is "in love with."</p>

They ended up falling in love over video calls during the COVID-19 pandemic.&nbsp;</p>

Priscilla Presley Responds to Rumor She's in Love With Former 'Dallas' Co-Star Patrick Duffy

<p>When it comes to pregnancy, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/anne-hathaway" rel="" target="_blank">Anne Hathaway</a> has been publicly sensitive to those who have suffered fertility challenges and loss. After all, she's one of them.</p>

<p>As&nbsp;<a href="https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/anne-hathaway-cover-story" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Vanity Fair</em>'</a>s April 2024 cover star, the Oscar winner and longtime actress reflects on the message she shared when she announced in July 2019 that&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-hathaway-reveals-she-is-expecting-her-second-baby-with-husband-adam-shulman-129218" rel="" target="_blank">she was expecting her second child</a>. "It's not for a movie...," she captioned a black-and-white photo of herself with a baby bump. "#2 All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love."</p>

<p>Nearly five years later, Hathaway tells&nbsp;<em>Vanity Fair,&nbsp;</em>"Given the pain I felt while trying to get pregnant, it would’ve felt disingenuous to post something all the way happy when I know the story is much more nuanced than that for everyone."</p>

<p>As she puts it, "I wasn’t going to feel ashamed of something that seemed to me statistically to actually be quite normal."</p>

As she shares with <i>Vanity Fair</i>, she suffered a miscarriage years prior in 2015. Compounding the painful experience, the actress was also performing for six weeks at the time in a one-woman off-Broadway show,&nbsp;<em>Grounded</em>, centered on a female U.S. Air Force pilot who is grounded when she gets pregnant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The first time it didn’t work out for me. I was doing a play and I had to give birth onstage every night," she tells <em>Vanity Fair</em>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Backstage after shows, she shared the personal news with visiting friends. "It was too much to keep it in when I was onstage pretending everything was fine. I had to keep it real otherwise... So when it did go well for me, having been on the other side of it -- where you have to have the grace to be happy for someone -- I wanted to let my sisters know, ‘You don’t have to always be graceful. I see you and I’ve been you.'"</p>

<p>With tearing eyes, she says, "It's really hard to want something so much and to wonder if you’re doing something wrong." The star ultimately <a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-hathaway-appears-to-have-given-birth-as-shes-spotted-out-with-husband-holding-a-baby-carrier" rel="" target="_blank">gave birth to her second son, Jack, at the end of 2019</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After learning miscarriages are far more common than what many people may realize, "I thought, Where is this information? Why are we feeling so unnecessarily isolated?" Hathaway recalls. "That’s where we take on damage. So I decided that I was going to talk about it. The thing that broke my heart, blew my mind, and gave me hope was that for three years after, almost daily, a woman came up to me in tears and I would just hold her, because she was carrying this [pain] around and suddenly it wasn’t all hers anymore."&nbsp;</p>

Anne Hathaway Recalls Suffering a Miscarriage While Playing Character Who Gives Birth

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/latest/people/christine-quinn" rel="" target="_blank">Christine Quinn</a>'s husband, Christian Dumontet, has been in handcuffs twice in 48 hours.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The&nbsp;<em>Selling Sunset&nbsp;</em>alum's husband was arrested at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday night for a misdemeanor charge, according to online records. Per Los Angeles police, he was arrested for violating a restraining order. He was released just over five hours later Thursday morning on $30,000 bond. He is due in court on April 11.&nbsp;</p>

<p><em><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/21/christine-quinn-husband-arrested-again-violating-protective-order/" rel="" target="_blank">TMZ</a></em> reported Dumontet was arrested after going to his and Quinn's Hollywood Hills home. Dumontet made headlines just a day ago when <a href="https://www.etonline.com/selling-sunset-star-christine-quinns-husband-christian-richard-arrested-for-assault-with-a-deadly" rel="" target="_blank">photos emerged of him being arrested and taken away in handcuffs while barefoot</a>&nbsp;and in a robe outside their home on Tuesday afternoon.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Los Angeles police confirmed to ET that officers reported to the residence on Tuesday after Dumontet allegedly threw a bag containing a glass bottle at Quinn, missing her but&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/selling-sunset-star-christine-quinn-gives-birth-to-first-child-with-husband-christian-richard" rel="" target="_blank">allegedly hitting their 2-year-old son, Christian</a>, causing an injury. Per police, the toddler was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to a local hospital. Meanwhile, Dumontet was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon, police confirmed. ET learned a restraining order had been filed by Quinn.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Citing sources, <em>TMZ </em>reported that Quinn and their son were not at the property when Dumontet was arrested again on Wednesday night and have not been back to the house since going to the hospital on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While Quinn has not yet addressed the incident publicly, a source previously called the situation "devastatingly raw."</p>

<p>An original cast member of Netflix's hit reality real estate series,&nbsp;<em>Selling Sunset</em>, Quinn rose to fame as she appeared on five drama-filled seasons <a href="https://www.etonline.com/christine-quinn-exits-selling-sunset-ahead-of-season-6-will-not-return-for-season-7-189313#" rel="" target="_blank">before leaving the Oppenheim Group in 2022</a>&nbsp;and exiting the show.&nbsp;</p>

'Selling Sunset' Star Christine Quinn's Husband Christian Dumontet Arrested a Second Time in 48 Hours

<p>No&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/big-little-lies" rel="" target="_blank"><em>big little lies&nbsp;</em>here</a>: The show has a third season in store.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The megahit drama series based on Liane Moriarty's novel, which premiered almost a decade ago (!) in 2017, is not over for good after all. Nearly five years since the second season came to a close in July 2019, fans have been wondering if the Monterey Five would ever return to the small screen again. Fortunately, one of its stars and executive producers -- Nicole Kidman -- has confirmed as much, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/nicole-kidman-shares-update-on-big-little-lies-season-3-weve-got-a-timeline-for-it-exclusive-218352" rel="" target="_blank">telling ET in January</a>, "We've got a timeline for it now."</p>

<p>"It's also letting things find their way and I think, you know, the time is... it's now. We're obviously all devastated <a href="https://www.etonline.com/jean-marc-vallee-big-little-lies-and-dallas-buyers-club-director-dead-at-58-177022" rel="" target="_blank">at the loss of Jean-Marc Vallée</a>," she noted, referencing the director who helmed the first season before his death on Dec. 25, 2021. "That made us go, 'Can we move forward?' But Reese [Witherspoon] and I, and all of the other women have decided yes we can."</p>

<h2>Casting Chaos</h2>

<p>A main roadblock for a third season seems to have been finding a time when all five of the lead actresses -- Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, and Laura Dern -- could actually film. Back in January 2020, Kidman <a href="https://www.etonline.com/big-little-lies-nicole-kidman-addresses-possible-season-3-139514" rel="" target="_blank">hinted at the potential scheduling nightmare</a> at HBO's Television Critics Association winter press tour -- before the COVID-19 pandemic took over.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Please don't move on!" she told reporters during a panel for her then-upcoming series, T<em>he Undoing</em>. "We've been so focused on this and we would love to, but there are ideas that are further on down the track."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Right now, look at Laura [Dern]. I don't think we'll ever get Laura back," Kidman quipped of the Oscar nominee. "She's working on so many&nbsp;different&nbsp;things… and Zoe [Kravitz]'s gone onto the Catwoman, so she's going&nbsp;to be doing other things."&nbsp;</p>

<h2>The Ladies Are In</h2>

<p>Despite any schedule concerns, Laura Dern made it clear she was on board if a third season ever arose.&nbsp;"I could never say no to Renata," she <a href="https://www.etonline.com/laura-dern-on-big-little-lies-season-3-after-nicole-kidman-said-they-could-never-get-her-back" rel="" target="_blank">told ET back in 2020</a>. The Oscar winner echoed the sentiment four years later, telling ET during an interview for&nbsp;<em>Palm Royale, </em>"I miss her, I will miss her, and I will jump at any opportunity to be in those terrifying shoes again -- gorgeous, but terrifying." She also wouldn't miss the chance to reunite professionally with "the best friends possible."</p>

<p>"We've become such a family," she said of the team, "so you know that would be an amazing dream."</p>

<p>Same goes for Kravitz, who Kidman <a href="https://www.etonline.com/nicole-kidman-says-theres-a-really-good-idea-for-big-little-lies-season-3-storyline-154530" rel="" target="_blank">said in 2020 was "in" for another season</a>. "Reese [Witherspoon] and I talk or text once a week. She’s just moved back to Nashville and we’re really close. We all just want to work together again. I texted Zoë [Kravitz] and Laura [Dern] and they’re in," she told <em>Marie Claire Australia</em>&nbsp;at the time.&nbsp;"[Writers] David [E. Kelley] and Liane have a really good idea for it.&nbsp;Watch this space!"&nbsp;</p>

<p>Echoed Woodley to <a href="https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/film-tv/a46190499/shailene-woodley-ferrari-interview-2023/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Harper's Bazaar</em></a>&nbsp;in December 2023, "It’s been a dream for us [to do a third season]. Working together on that show was&nbsp;<em>so</em>&nbsp;many things, and the way that it affected so many people around the world and the way that it affected us—that was something none of us expected."</p>

<h2>What Happens Next?</h2>

<p>With all the women on board, what will they be up to in a third season? Even if they won't share just yet, it sounds like Kidman and Witherspoon know what direction the show is heading. "There's the richness of the storylines, which we'd always discussed, but it needed time because there’s actual unbelievable depth to the next chapter of these women’s lives and their children’s lives -- because children grow up, and that’s kind of fascinating," she told&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/nicole-kidman-makes-rare-comments-on-life-with-two-teens-says-daughter-pushed-for-big-little-lies" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Elle</em></a>&nbsp;this year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Woodley has also referenced the maturing of their characters' kids as a subject to explore. "I think what excites me about the possibility of a third season, more than what I could think of with Jane, is the fact that these children [on the show] are not children anymore. They're teenagers now!" she told <a href="https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/film-tv/a46190499/shailene-woodley-ferrari-interview-2023/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Harper's Bazaar</em></a>. "Jean-Marc Vallée, our brilliant filmmaker who brought&nbsp;<em>Big Little Lies&nbsp;</em>together and really made it what it was, sadly passed away, and at his funeral last year, all of the kids came and the cast was there. So I’m looking around and I’m like, 'Where’s our kids?!' Their voices have dropped, they all have their teenage situation happening [<em>waves hands over face to imply acne</em>], and the angst is kicking in, and that, to me, is what is exciting about the possibility of a third season. What does life look like for those people who are not children anymore?"<br />

'Big Little Lies' Season 3: A Guide to Everything We Know, From Who's Returning to Where New Episodes Stand

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/shakira" rel="" target="_blank">Shakira</a> is not telling any beautiful lies about what her romantic future may hold.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a newly released interview with <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/youtu.be/GrQtaf48k2Q__;!!CxwJSw!LZ0ZTCTa82Rlh0gctYbH_LelYku2bCYEu02od9comFaumF9zQ-W5ZNyBdRXPnoaJ93ANFZpqv7CR$" rel="" target="_blank">Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1</a>, the 47-year-old singer and mom of two candidly spoke about what she values <a href="https://www.etonline.com/shakira-and-longtime-boyfriend-soccer-star-gerard-pique-are-separating-185179" rel="" target="_blank">following her split from her longtime partner</a>,&nbsp;Gerard Piqué, in 2022 after more than a decade together.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When asked by Lowe, "What's really, truly important to you now?," the performer responded with "Friendship."</p>

<p>"I think friendship lasts longer than love," she said. "Though I still think experiencing love, fully experiencing it with all its peaks and valleys it's so essential to the human life."</p>

<p>Shakira affirmed, "I love love, but I think I even love friendship a little bit more. Because I thought love would be there forever for me. And that's one of my, you know, broken dreams. Perhaps I will. I don't know if I'll like find that again. Probably not. Well, I don't know. But friendship, I have."</p>

<p>Shakira went on to explain how friendship hasn't always been a top priority for her. "I wasn't one of those people who valued friendship as much. I've always valued family, and having a partner in a couple. I've always been in a couple," she said. "But then when that wasn't there, and when I lost my boys and when I had to face the darkest and the hardest moments of my life, friends were there. And they kept me together. Those who did really showed me the true, the true meaning of life. I might not grow old with a partner, but I will grow old surrounded by good friends."</p>

<p>While a future romance remains to be seen, it seems she's keeping it real with her sons, 11-year-old Milan and 9-year-old Sasha, as she navigates life as a single mom after her breakup.&nbsp;</p>

And they can tell when an adult is lying to them," she said. "They want the truth. Because if you don't give them the truth, then they make up their own version of the truth. And their interpretations of reality could be completely wrong and messed up and then it's when things get really complicated for them. But if you if you're brave enough to talk about things, talking about it with them to understand how they're perceiving reality as well and open up a conversation, open up a dialogue where they can also give their opinions. And embrace their own vulnerability as well."</p>

<p>Though she's juggling more responsibilities now as a mom with a world-famous music career without the help of a partner, it does not sound like Shakira is longing for her past. Speaking of her previous years living in Barcelona raising her family, Shakira told Lowe, "It was kind of like a sometimes a love-hate relationship" with her art.</p>

<p>"Every time I had to be pulled into the studio to do my work, I failed. I felt that I was leaving my family unattended. There were times when I really didn't enjoy it. You know, I felt guilt. I felt torn. But now it feels totally different. Even though, it's more challenging because now I'm in charge of these two kids, these two babies that depend on me so much.&nbsp;And I'm a single mother, I don't have a husband at home to help out with anything," she said. "In a way, it's kind of good not to have a husband because that…I don't know why it was dragging me down, man. Now I feel like working. I feel like writing songs. I feel like making music. It's a compulsive need of mine that I didn't feel before."</p>

Shakira Reflects on Whether She'll Find Love Again After Gerard Piqué Split -- and What She Values Instead

<p>Escobedo stars as Bobbie’s sister, Isabella, an enthusiastic 20-something who has studied psychology and loves to analyze people. She is thrilled to start working at the tavern and is full of "great" ideas about how to bring it to life.</p>

<p>In January, ET confirmed that McEntire, 68, is planning to make her triumphant return to TV with an original NBC series that was picked up for a pilot.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to representatives for NBC and Universal Television, <em>The Voice </em>coach will star and act as executive producer for a multi-cam comedy that sees her character, Bobbie, inheriting her father's restaurant following his death. Things get interesting -- and presumably hilarious -- when she discovers that her business partner in the endeavor is a half-sister she never knew she had.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to <em><a href="https://deadline.com/2024/03/melissa-peterman-reba-mcentire-nbc-comedy-pilot-belissa-escobedo-cast-1235861582/" rel="" target="_blank">Deadline</a></em>, Peterman has been cast as a bartender named Gabby who works at the restaurant while Escobedo will portray the half-sister of McEntire's character.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The untitled project is also a reunion for McEntire and executive producers Kevin Abbott, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis -- all who hail from the singer's eponymous TV show. New to the team of EPs is Julie Abbott.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The new show was the first to receive a pilot order for the 2024 broadcast pilot season following the concurrent Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes in the summer and fall of 2023.&nbsp;</p>

<p><em>Reba,&nbsp;</em>which ran on The WB (which later became The CW) from 2001 to 2007, also starred Joanna Garcia, Steve Howey and Christopher Rich.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We're all still friends. And it's very helpful," she shared. "Especially John was really great... He helped me with the strategy."</p>

<p>She returned as a coach for the new season, alongside Legend and newcomers<b>&nbsp;</b>Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay.&nbsp;</p>

Reba McEntire to Reunite With 'Reba' Co-Star Melissa Peterman for New TV Pilot: Everything We Know 

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kate-middleton" rel="" target="_blank">Kate Middleton</a>&nbsp;stepped out again amid her recovery from <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-hospitalized-for-abdominal-surgery-likely-wont-return-to-public-duties-until-after" rel="" target="_blank">her January abdominal surgery</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Princess of Wales was spotted at a farm shop with husband Prince William a mile from their Windsor home on Saturday, as seen in <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/18/kate-middleton-seen-new-video-windsor-farm-shop-prince-william/" rel="" target="_blank">video footage obtained by </a><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/18/kate-middleton-seen-new-video-windsor-farm-shop-prince-william/" rel="" target="_blank"><i>TMZ.</i></a></p>

<p>Middleton appeared to be smiling and happy and she and her husband strolled around the Windsor Farm Shop, shopping and chatting as they walked.&nbsp;</p>

<p><a href="https://www.the-sun.com/royals/10821876/princess-kate-middleton-shopping-trip-video-william/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>The Sun</em></a> first reported on the sighting prior to video surfacing. Eyewitnesses reportedly described Middleton as looking "happy, relaxed and healthy."</p>

<p><em>The Sun</em>&nbsp;further reported that the royal parents watched their three children -- Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 -- play sports that morning.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;"After all the rumors that had been going round I was stunned to see them there," an unnamed eyewitness at the shop told&nbsp;<em>The Sun</em>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After news of Middleton's latest public outing broke, ET spoke with&nbsp;CBS News Foreign Correspondent Ramy Inocencio, who addressed the reports and the public's fascination with the princess.</p>

<p>Inocencio pointed to <em>The Sun</em>'s print headline, which read simply, "Kate Outdoors," explaining, "The mere fact that this, these two words, 'Kate Outdoors,' is actually a headline shows how important and how much people are really interested in the health and the wellbeing of the Princess of Wales."</p>

<p>"She hasn't been seen in public for about the past two months," he continued. "The last thing that we heard -- which is also the first thing that we heard back in mid-January -- is that Kate Middleton would come out and return to public duties sometime after Easter."</p>

<p>"Now, that doesn't mean that she would come out right at Easter, which is in a couple of weeks, but that the interpretation is that she might come out in maybe mid-April, or a little bit after that," he added. "And that would be in relation to when her her children would be out of school."</p>

<p>Saturday's sighting comes a week after she was <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-spotted-out-with-prince-william-after-photoshop-controversy-221423" rel="" target="_blank">photographed in a car</a> with the future king of England on March 11. A royal source told ET that the Princess of Wales was on her way to a private appointment. However, new images of Middleton have come under heightened scrutiny after <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-breaks-her-silence-amid-recovery-smiles-in-new-portrait-with-her-kids-taken-by" rel="" target="_blank">a photo of her with her kids posted to social media on March 10</a>&nbsp;-- through which she addressed her hospitalization for the first time -- spurred speculation that it had been manipulated. The Associated Press retracted the photo as it did not meet their standards and the princess <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-says-she-edited-mothers-day-portrait-amid-continued-speculation-221402" rel="" target="_blank">later admitted to altering the picture</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing," Kate wrote in a statement posted on X. "I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C."&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for the newer photo of her in the car, the photo agency denied fan theories that the picture had also been manipulated, telling ET that <a href="https://www.etonline.com/agency-behind-kate-middleton-car-photo-says-nothing-has-been-doctored-221522" rel="" target="_blank">while the "image has been cropped and lightened, nothing has been doctored."</a></p>

<p>Photographer Jim Bennett further explained how he ended up taking the picture, revealing that he was attempting to <a href="https://www.etonline.com/photographer-reveals-how-that-kate-middleton-car-photo-unexpectedly-happened-221604" rel="" target="_blank">photograph Prince William before the Commonwealth Day Service</a> when he realized Middleton was also in the car.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The cars left Windsor Castle and I photographed them a short distance away on Datchet High Street -- outside No.39 to be precise! Car shots are unpredictable at the best of times, and with some reflection on the glass, it can be difficult," he said. "As it happened, it wasn't until I checked on the back of the camera to make sure I had a frame of Prince William that I realized there was someone sitting next to him. It turned out to be Catherine!"</p>

<p>But when can royal fans expect to see Middleton making official public appearances again? The palace previously said that Middleton "is unlikely to return to <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kate-middleton-hospitalized-for-abdominal-surgery-likely-wont-return-to-public-duties-until-after" rel="" target="_blank">public duties until after Easter</a>," which comes on March 31.&nbsp;</p>

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/oprah-winfrey" rel="" target="_blank">Oprah Winfrey</a> has revealed her reason for leaving the board of Weight Watchers after nearly a decade.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During an appearance on <em>Jimmy Kimmel Live!</em>, the media mogul shared the context behind her headline-making decision to resign, citing her <a href="https://www.etonline.com/oprah-winfrey-to-host-special-on-impact-of-weight-loss-medication-after-admitting-to-taking-it" rel="" target="_blank">upcoming TV special on weight loss medication</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I decided that because this special was really important to me and I wanted to be able to talk about whatever I want to talk about and Weight Watchers is now in the business of being a weight health company that also administers drug medications for weight," she explained. "I did not want to have the appearance of any conflict of interest and so, I resigned from the board and I donated all of my shares to the National Museum of African American History… so nobody can say, 'Oh, she’s doing that special, she’s making money and promoting'… No, you cannot say that."</p>

<p>When asked whether the people at Weight Watched cried when she left, Winfrey replied, "They almost did."</p>

<p>The primetime television special -- named "Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution" and set to air March 18 on ABC and the next day on Hulu -- is set to focus on prescription weight loss medications and their impact on other elements of life, including healthcare, culture, and the economy, according to a press release. "Speaking in front of a live studio audience, Oprah gathers the country’s leading medical experts and everyday people who are in the battle of one of the biggest health care crises the world has ever known," the press release stated. "For the first time in history, new drugs could prove to be the game changer to stem the tide of people living with obesity, an epidemic which has grown exponentially since the 1970s, costing $173 billion per year in medical costs in the United States alone."</p>

<p>As Winfrey, 70, acknowledged on <em>Kimmel</em>, she has personally struggled with her weight for decades, often losing and gaining weight repeatedly. She also devoted episodes of&nbsp;<em>The Oprah Winfrey Show&nbsp;</em>on issues surrounding weight. Last year, she confirmed that she <a href="https://www.etonline.com/oprah-winfrey-admits-she-uses-weight-loss-medication-as-a-maintenance-tool-216453" rel="" target="_blank">uses weight loss medication</a>, telling <a href="https://www.etonline.com/oprah-winfrey-admits-she-uses-weight-loss-medication-as-a-maintenance-tool-216453" rel="" target="_blank"><em>People</em></a>, "I now use it as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing."</p>

<p>"It is a very personal topic for me and for the hundreds of millions of people impacted around the globe who have for years struggled with weight and obesity," Winfrey said in a recent statement. "This special will bring together medical experts, leaders in the space and people in the day-to-day struggle to talk about health equity and obesity with the intention to ultimately release the shame, judgment and stigma surrounding weight."</p>
